We've updated how you check-in when you arrive to see your family doctor or SFHT allied healthcare providers. There are 3 new self-check-in kiosks which will let us know you are there for your appointment. You will need to swipe your Healthcard as part of the process so be sure to bring it with you! This is almost as much human contact as you would get with receptionists there anyway.

How impersonal!

SGH emergency department could perhaps implement something like this to increase efficiency and confidentiality.

Don’t think it will be good for elderly patients. A lot of them are from the old school. And who will help them. Staff are so busy. Lol. Oh maybe they can catch up on Wednesday afternoons when they are closed. Oh also when they closed down on Fridays at 3:00. Good answer.

I used it today with help from receptionist hopefully next time ill do it by myself

I hope nobody lost their jobs as a result of this.

Just used this yesterday for my son's appointment. Love this option 🙂

Is their a reason why we are doing this option now
